ABOUT ME

Experienced Counselor

My name is Greta Buyck Parkinson. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and couples. I have worked in the public sector as a counselor, policy maker, and director of child, adolescent, and family services, as well as in private practice offering services to children and adults. In my therapy practice I have helped clients with a broad range of issues including anxiety, depression, mood issues, ADHD, parenting issues, career related transitions, relational issues, and other adjustments to life transitions.  Working from a wellness model, my goal is to help individuals uncover what is going on beneath the surface and identify strengths that will help them move forward. I offer treatment that is compassionate, insight oriented, and at times challenging and fun. Let me help you or your child find manageable and practical solutions to the roadblocks that are standing in your way.
